Starting today, native files from AutoCAD, Rhino, SolidWorks, and more can be imported directly into Speckle. Additionally, the IFC importer has been enhanced, with its maximum file size limit increased from 100MB to 1GB.

Assign BIM categories in Rhino with Speckle

Early-stage design coordination just got easier for teams using Rhino and Revit. With our new category assignment tool, architects and designers can focus on clearly communicating design intent without needing to know how to set up complex BIM families or parameters or having Revit installed.

The functionality lets you assign semantic meaning to your Rhino geometry so they can be received as categorized DirectShapes in Revit.
